Flower Mound, TX — Great Place to Work® and Fortune magazine have recognized Ardent Healthcare as one of the 2023 Best Workplaces in Aging Services™. This is Ardent Healthcare’s first time being named to this prestigious list, coming in at 10th place. Earning a spot means that Ardent Healthcare is one of the best companies to work for in the country.
The Best Workplaces in Aging Services award is based on analysis of survey responses from more than 140,000 employees from Great Place to Work-Certified™ companies in the aging services industry. In that survey, 96% of Ardent Healthcare’s employees said Ardent Healthcare is a great place to work compared with 57% of employees at the average U.S. company.
“What an honor!” said Jimmie Stapleton, CEO/Administrator of Ardent Healthcare. “We are grateful for each member of the Ardent Healthcare staff. We celebrate and thank them for all they do to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families on a daily basis.”
The Fortune Best Workplaces in Aging Services list is highly competitive. Great Place to Work, the global authority on workplace culture, selected the list using rigorous analytics and confidential employee feedback. Companies were only considered if they are a Great Place to Work-Certified™ organization.
Great Place to Work is the only company culture award in America that selects winners based on how fairly employees are treated. Companies are assessed on how well they are creating a great employee experience that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status, or any aspect of who employees are or what their role is.

My name is Jimmie Stapleton. I am the founder and CEO of Ardent Healthcare. Ardent Healthcare includes Ardent Hospice, Ardent Supportive Care, MaximaCare Home Health and Ardent at Home.
Ardent Hospice was opened in 2007 to provide care and support for individuals and families facing a life limiting illness. It was established after my wife Ellen, who had been diagnosed with breast cancer, had completed her chemo and radiation therapies. At that time, things were looking positive, and we wanted to do something for our community that had been so supportive of our family during her treatments. Unfortunately, the cancer returned a few years later, and she subsequently passed away under our care in 2010.
In the years that followed, I began to see the need to provide the same level of excellent care to patients across the continuum of care. Therefore, we have added a home health division (MaximaCare Home Health), a palliative care division (Ardent Supportive Care), and a home care division, (Ardent at Home). With the addition of these divisions, we can meet most of the post-acute care needs for you and your family in your home.
I started Ardent Hospice with my wife as my motivation to provide exceptional care and support in the patient’s home, where they are surrounded by family and where they feel most comfortable. I’m proud to say that our staff provides some of the best in home care in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
Please let us know if we can enrich the quality of life for you or a loved one.
Sincerely,
Jimmie Stapleton – Founder and CEO
