Arcy Hospice Celebrates National Volunteer Week

In recognition of National Volunteer Week, we celebrate the contributions and gifts of our dedicated hospice volunteers.

In recognition of National Volunteer Week, we celebrate the contributions and gifts of our dedicated hospice volunteers. And even during this past year, when the pandemic altered so many practices, hospice volunteers remained in the wings, ready for an opportunity to return – or have found a safe way to let patients and families know that they were being thought of and cared for.

Volunteering is an important activity for millions of Americans, and the compassionate individuals who serve as trained hospice volunteers deserve special recognition during this week of celebration and awareness.  We at Arcy have a wonderful team of about thirty, who graciously give of their time and talent. The pandemic has been an enormous challenge to our program, and we look forward to the day we can continue our good work without obstacles. Unfortunately, we had to forgo our annual luncheon but rather, acknowledged the continued support of the team with a bright blue umbrella.

Thank you to our wonderful Arcy Hospice volunteers. They make Arcy a better company by the good works they do.
