About Ardent Supportive Care
In June 2020, Ardent Supportive Care was added to the Ardent Healthcare family to expand the continuum of in-home care. Supportive care is a type of medical care that focuses on those with serious illness by providing in-home visits by nurse practitioners. The goal of supportive care is palliative, or comfort care, and lessening symptoms of those with complex conditions. It is similar to the care received at a doctor’s office, except that our staff comes to you.
Located in Flower Mound, we serve much of the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. Ardent Supportive Care is also a certified Great Place to Work.
Supporting You 24/7
When you are dealing with a serious illness we are here to help. We specialize in helping those:
- Requiring repeated hospitalizations
- Experiencing symptoms despite optimal treatment
- Having shorter periods of wellness between setbacks
- Finding burdens of treatment overwhelming
- Desiring help with planning for future care
Common illnesses we see include heart disease, kidney disease, lung disease, cancer, and neurological conditions like Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and dementia.
